You have stumbled upon Mrs. Phillips' History Project Wiki. The articles contained herein are created by her students at The Winchester Thurston School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

To wrap up the year, we will be working on producing a 1938 Soviet Exposition to wrestle with the progress and problems of the Soviet Union from Lenin's death to the outbreak of World War II.

This year, we have learned about the Industrial Revolution through a mix of primary and secondary accounts.

Our largest project, "I Am the State," drew on a set of documents about Louis XIV of France.

Through another recent project, Discovering Columbus, we used primary documents to weave an understanding of Christopher Columbus in the context of 1492 Europe.
